Development of open source products and software - Palmabit Software

Closed source software, whose code cannot be modified, i.e. proprietary software, has considerable limitations that can now be overcome thanks to the development of open source software. The inability to make corrections and improvements independently, to update software according to one's needs and to personalize it have increasingly highlighted a need for a change in direction.

Many of the foremost software engineers and architects today have been trained by open source and the same is true for us; every day.

Among the main advantages of Open Source is the improvement in efficiency and reliability: on the one hand you have optimized software that is updated with new functions that are useful to those who use it, and on the other, you can count on the high quality of the product, which is constantly tested and improved.
